What is War Farming?
War farming is strategically losing the war to win easy loot from attacking high enemy bases for 1-star to earn the war win bonus. War farmers ask the enemy to place their TH and storages out of range of their defenses to be easily sniped. Everyone in the losing clan is awarded 30% of the war win bonus. In a typical snipe war that works, if there are two TH10's that expose their TH's the war win bonus will be around 500K each (1m combined). 30% of that is about 300K in gold/elixir.

We will let you win since we are a war farming clan! All we ask for is that your two highest ranked villages place the Town Hall and storage’s outside your defences.
The idea is that this is a win-win system. You are the big winner. You will add another war win to you war stats. You will also have all our loot and the full war bonus. You are very likely to do this with a minimum amount of troops spent. You never lose any loot during a war as most of you knows. The content of the storage’s during war is just a nice free gift from Supercell, so you don’t really lose anything by giving it to us. We will win the war bonus and loot that you help us receive from your top two villages. Our war bonus will only be 30% of what you get, but we will get is with a minimal effort since you help us get it. Since we war almost all the time it will still be beneficial for us. It is important for us that YOU win the war! We need to keep our war statistics at 0 wins to make us credible in future wars. Clan Castle Troops: This is just another great thing when you war against us. You are sure to win even if you don’t spend a lot of time and resources to fill up your war clan castle troops. It will make it more profitable for your guys, and easier for us. Clan XP: We ask for you to put out the Town Hall and storage’s on your two highest ranked villages. But if you really trust us (and you should) you can put out even more for us. That would be awesome! This will enable us do some more attacks on your villages to gain some Clan XP. We will carefully watch the amount of stars you make so we never get ahead of you. You will always win the war! Feel free to visit our clan before the war starts to check out our war statistics if you are unsure about our system! You will still be able to go back to your old clan and be a part of the war once the war matching is made. |

The whole idea behind the clans is that we are in constant wars and that we always lose the wars. That is called war farming.
Your village design must be very easy to raid. It is important that you put your defenses separated from your town hall and storages. Think about how a village should look like if you should be able to raid it with a single archer. It will be a bit harder to take down your defenses, but make it as easy as possible. Please see the page titled War Base Design. We should lose the war, and our opponents should hand over their town hall and storages on their top villages in the war. There is no guarantee that they will do it, but its sure a nice thing if the do! That will give us whatever is in their storages, and 30% of the war bonus. This is a very nice thing if they comply! Make sure you never attack villages to take more stars than needed. Only attack their top two villages if they put out their town hall and storages. We can never risk winning a war. Our war statistics will not be credible in future wars if we do. So, why don’t just win the war and get all the war bonus? Yes, sure that’s a nice idea. But you will not win the war just by using some Archers and Goblins. Lets assume you go for the famous GO-WIPE strategy (costs are based on an upgraded TH9 village): Ok, it costs a lot. But you will still be able to get a lot of war bonus right? That is partly correct. Your whole clan can't attack their number 1 and 2 since you actually have to win the war. Your clan basically have to attack all opponents. I have made some calculations based on the average of all war opponents in the war above. War bonus: 816 000 Gold/Elixir and 3360 Dark Elixir. You also get 134 000 Gold/Elixir and 650 Dark Elixir in loot, but only if you take out 100% of the storage’s. That is 950 000 Gold/Elixir and 4010 Dark Elixir. That makes a net profit (after subtracting the cost of troops) of 950 000 Gold, 567 000 Elixir and 2660 Dark Elixir. Other considerations include the donation of Elixir and Dark Elixir troops to fellow clan members and filling all those clan castles before war begins. This is an underestimated cost to most clans. So really after a successful war you have gained slightly more in gold but you don't further you elixir or dark elixir storages. Can you imagine the losses after losing a war! This strategy is also very successful for those members who don't have access to heroes during wars. Instead of putting up the red shield, you can quite easily collect and additional 500,000 of gold and elixir per 2 days while continuing to do your farming, trophy pushing or whatever your clash goals are! |
